AN EXCERPT FROM As they rode into their farm, Sam saw his lovely wife
laying on the front yard with blood all over her body and her dress ripped
off her lower body. Both he and Goeff
cried out in despair and jumped off their horses. Each man took off running in different
directions looking at the massive disaster that happened while they were in
Fastov. Their throats were tight and
their heads seemed to burst with the horror of what their eyes were telling
them. Their entire family had been
raped, beaten and left where they had stood.
The ground told the story; there were many hoof prints, there had been
many men. Their family didn’t have a
chance. They both dropped to their
knees weeping and praying for peace and blessings to their loved ones’ souls. They wept for hours. Their grief swept over them and it was
morning before they picked themselves up and started digging graves for their
family. Two nights passed before they were finished and started hunting for food that may have been left. They found very little, ate what they could and packed anything they could find left of value and sat down to decide what direction to go. They decided to go further south and headed out that night. They would walk until they couldn’t walk any longer and see where they ended up. CLICK HERE TO RETURN TO THE MAIN PAGE To contact Marcia via e-mail: perpetualstimulus@yahoo.com
